A couple of weeks ago I was lucky, oh so lucky, enough to attend the Baby as Art workshop in San diego. Taught by the very talented Carrie Sandoval and Brittany Woodall. This was a workshop dedicated to getting beautiful photos of teeny tiny newborns. I learned so much! here are just a few from that day. I have more on my facebook fanpage if you are interested.

What a lovely evening for a photo session. I love summer. This was only the second time I have ever shot in Fish Creek park. What a beautiful place. So much to explore. I was so lucky to have a great family to explore with me. Thanks for a lovely evening.

This mom is one of my biggest fans. I have been capturing her family’s moments for years. I have watched her children grow from tiny babies to really great kids. This session was a special request for her 10th anniversary. She wanted photos of her and the kids to give to her husband as a gift (so if you know him - mum’s the word). I was thrilled to do this session It was so thrilling to see dhow different and special her relationships were with each of her kids. So often Mom is the person behind the camera and she needs to be front and centre.

A couple of weeks ago, I had the opportunity to attend a great workshop in Montana. Barb from Jinky Art Travelled all the way from Australia to teach a few workshops. I was lucky enough to attend one. I have loved Barb’s work for a s long as I can remember and to get the opportunity to see her work was so great. I have been so busy since I got back, that I have only had a chance to edit a few of the details, but there are more to come.
